About the Role

The Operations Executive will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day Sales operations by driving coordination, structure, and execution. It is a detail-oriented MIS Executive with sales operations experience to manage sales data, generate reports, coordinate with vendors, and support the sales team with accurate, timely business insights and process documentation. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable sales strategy, ensuring smooth day-to-day sales operations.

KeyResponsibilities

Prepare, maintain, and update daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports (sales performance, targets vs. achievements, pipeline, collections, etc.)

Manage and analyze sales data using Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards) and CRM tools

Track sales team performance against targets and highlight gaps to management

Coordinate with sales team for order processing, invoicing, and follow-ups

Coordinate with vendors for order placement, delivery timelines, rate negotiations, and issue resolution

Maintain vendor records, agreements, and performance tracking

Maintain and update customer/dealer/distributor databases

Support sales planning by providing data-backed insights (territory performance, product-wise sales, etc.)

Assist in drafting, documenting, and updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for sales and operational processes

Support the design, calculation, and rollout of sales incentive/commission plans; track incentive payouts against performance

Prepare dashboards and presentations for leadership review

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting across departments

Assist in sales forecasting, budgeting, and target-setting processes

Coordinate with finance/accounts for reconciliation of sales figures, vendor payments, and outstanding collections

Streamline and automate reporting processes to reduce manual effort

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce/Business preferred)

Minimum 2 years of experience in MIS reporting and/or sales operations

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros a plus)

Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) is a plus

Prior exposure to vendor coordination or procurement support is a plus

Basic understanding of SOP documentation and incentive/commission structures

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

Good communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with vendors, sales, finance, and management teams

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multitask and work under deadlines

Working knowledge of Power BI/Google Data Studio is an added advantage
