Meeting with business leaders, domain experts, and delivery teams to align digital roadmaps, resolve priorities, and steer cross-functional initiatives. You work with data, engineering, and platform specialists to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and connected to operational needs.

Focus on portfolio planning, AI adoption, data governance, and capability building across the hub. You end the day by advancing a long-term strategy that strengthens execution, collaboration, quality and safety performance along with data-driven decision-making across Siemens Energy Substations Business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead and grow the Digital & Innovation Competence Hub in India, setting its strategic direction, operating model, and delivery priorities while building a collaborative, high-performing team. Define and execute transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and global priorities, steering complex cross-functional programs from ideation through implementation and value realization. Shape scalable digital and data architectures across Microsoft 365, cloud services, enterprise applications, and data platforms to streamline workflows and establish trusted, accessible information. Define and drive initiatives which supports to enhance execution through increased productivity, standardization and non-conformance reduction Establish effective data governance, quality, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance practices that enable reliable and sustainable digital operations. Build strong partnerships with global and regional stakeholders, communicate progress at executive level, and develop organizational capabilities in operations management, process optimization, governance framework and digitalization.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage. 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong record of leading teams and delivering complex digital transformation, PMO, consulting, or process-optimization programs; experience in energy, utilities, mobility, infrastructure, or EPC environments is preferred. Practical understanding of data management, enterprise architecture, integration and ETL, analytics, cloud platforms, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power BI, SharePoint, Power Platform, Teams, and Copilot will be an advantage. Strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, and clear communication, with the ability to influence senior leaders, work across global and multicultural teams, and translate priorities into measurable outcomes. A collaborative and decisive leadership style, commitment to capability building and organizational change, and willingness to travel globally approximately 15–20% as required; relevant project management certification is beneficial.
