The role

A multimedia intern at a fintech and wealth management company designs marketing collateral and produces video content using graphic design and video editing, adapting creative assets for digital campaigns and events. The role also applies motion graphics and AI-assisted design tools to deliver polished brand-consistent assets.

Full job description

Role Overview

We are looking for an intern to work closely with the Marketing team, gaining hands-on exposure to how design and video content is produced within a fast-growing fintech and wealth management environment — designing marketing collaterals, editing and producing video (including AI-generated video), and turning briefs from channel owners into finished assets.

Key Responsibilities

Design Collaterals: Design marketing materials including one-pagers, presentations and decks, social media creatives, paid advertising creatives, and webinar/event collateral.

Video Production: Edit and produce video content, including product videos, AI-generated videos, and short-form video for social and paid channels.

Brief Execution: Work directly with channel owners across the Marketing team to understand briefs and deliver the design and video assets each channel requires.

Platform Adaptation: Produce creative variations and adapt assets to the specifications of different platforms, formats and placements.

Asset Management: Maintain and organise brand assets, templates and project files for fast, consistent recurring production.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all output aligns with brand guidelines across visual identity, typography and tone.

Deadline Management: Manage multiple briefs and deadlines simultaneously, keeping stakeholders updated on timelines and delivery.

General Support: Support other creative and marketing initiatives as required by the Marketing team.

Learning Outcomes

How to take a creative brief from concept to finished, live asset.

Hands-on experience with AI video and AI-assisted design tools as part of core production work.

Producing across a breadth of formats — static design, motion, product video, and campaign creative.

Working directly with channel owners and adapting output to different platforms and placements.

Managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced marketing environment.

How to visually communicate financial and investment products — a specialised skill in fintech and wealth management.

Career Value in Wealth & Asset Management

Creative work that ships: Everything produced goes into live marketing — active channels, paid campaigns, and events — not practice briefs.

Current, in-demand tools: Build practical experience with AI video generation and AI-assisted design as a core skill, not a side experiment.

Breadth of exposure: Move across static design, motion, product video, and campaign creative, building a well-rounded portfolio.

Global exposure: Work within a business operating across Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and the UAE, seeing how creative supports marketing globally.

Specialised industry skill: Learn to visually communicate financial and investment products — a niche, valuable skill in fintech.

What We're Looking For

Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Film, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.

Genuine interest in design and video production, with willingness to learn on live projects and real deadlines.

Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (video/motion), and Photoshop and Illustrator (design).

Comfortable producing collateral in Canva, including within existing brand templates.

Interest in working hands-on with AI video and image generation tools.

A portfolio demonstrating design and video work.

Strong attention to detail, openness to feedback and iteration, and ability to manage multiple deadlines at once.

Prior internship, freelance, or academic exposure to design, video editing, or motion graphics is a bonus.
