Job Title: Senior API MuleSoft Developer
Location: GCC
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview: As a Senior API MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will work closely with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of APIs and integrations across various systems and applications. This role also involves mentoring junior developers and contributing to the overall strategy and architecture of integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of complex integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations following best practices and coding standards.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and support.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between systems.Prepare comprehensive documentation for developed APIs and integrations.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the integration solutions remain current and effective.Contribute to the overall strategy and architecture of integration solutions.
Minimum Knowledge Requirements
In-depth understanding of API design and development.Extensive knowledge of integration concepts and technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON).Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint Platform components.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.Advanced knowledge of databases and SQL.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.Strong communication and leadership skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in API development or integration.Advanced programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.Proficiency with API management tools and platforms.Experience leading integration projects and teams.
Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft Developer certification or Integration Architect certification.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of other integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, Apigee, or Tibco.
