Potential team members join an organization with a long-standing legacy in pharmaceuticals and an expanding global footprint.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Microbiologist role based in Bengaluru. The Microbiologist will perform routine and specialized microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples to support manufacturing and quality operations. Daily responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing culture media, performing microbial limit tests, Water analysis, Media preparation and Environmental monitoring of clean rooms and accurately documenting results as per regulatory and internal standards. The Microbiologist will also ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Microbiology knowledge and practical experience applying microbiological techniques in a pharmaceutical or related laboratory setting.Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills and be proficient in handling Laboratory Equipment used for microbiological testing and routine analysis.Candidates should possess Quality Control experience, including executing and interpreting microbiological tests to support product and process quality.Candidates should possess Quality Assurance awareness, including familiarity with GMP, GLP, documentation practices, and regulatory guidelines.Relevant degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related life science field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.Strong attention to detail, data interpretation skills, and ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is beneficial.Immediate joining is preferred.
