Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Packet Core Support Engineer with 6–12 years of telecom experience to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize packet core network elements. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and operational excellence of 4G/5G core networks.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support for Packet Core nodes such as SGW, PGW, MME, PCRF, PCF, AMF, SMF, UPFMonitor network performance and handle incidents, outages, and escalationsPerform troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolutionManage software upgrades, patches, and configuration changesEnsure SLA compliance and service availabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams (RAN, OCS, IMS, Platform, ST/R&D)Maintain documentation and prepare operational reportsSupport network optimization and capacity planning activities

Job Requirements

6–12 years of experience in telecom, with strong exposure to 4G/5G Packet CoreStrong knowledge of LTE/5G architecture, protocols (GTP, S1AP, Diameter, PFCP, NGAP, HTTP/2)Experience in troubleshooting and incident management in live networksFamiliarity with Unix/Linux systems and basic scriptingUnderstanding of virtualization/cloud (NFV, Kubernetes) is a plusGood analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
