About The Team

We are the team that enables cross-line of business data and reporting support for Zillow's paid media organization. We ensure the data powering our marketing decisions is clean, reliable, and actionable and that our media investments are continuously optimized for performance. The team is fast-paced and data-driven, and we operate with a high degree of both collaboration and autonomy. We partner closely with Paid Marketing, Marketing Tech and Operations, Marketing Data Science, and Marketing Strategy to support business objectives across all paid media channels. This role is part of a newly established India-based team that is central to how zMedia scales — partnering closely with US and Mexico-based media leads to power faster, always-on access to performance insights.

About The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist, Media Reporting and Automation to play a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting ongoing reporting, and enabling faster insight generation across all paid media channels. This role is designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of data and marketing — someone who can own recurring quality processes, build scalable reporting infrastructure, and leverage AI tools to shift from manual execution to higher-order analysis. This role will report into the Senior Manager, Media Data and Analytics. You'll need to move quickly, navigate cross-functional stakeholders with ease, and make sound, independent decisions. You will support all lines of business & initiatives including Brand, Buyer, Renter and B2B.

You Will Get To:

Own end-to-end QA of monthly reporting and spend data across paid media platforms/channels and internal systems — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability at scale. You’ll be the subject matter expert of several external reporting platforms, like CM360, iSpot, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and moreYou will own a bi-weekly reporting cadence across campaigns while working toward an always-on data infrastructure that reduces lag between performance signals and optimization decisionsLeverage AI tools to streamline data QA, surface anomalies, and reduce manual lift across recurring workflowsMaintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure to surface media performance, trends, and insights to key stakeholdersPull and synthesize ongoing competitive tracking data via third-party tools, translating raw signals into actionable summaries for the media teamBuild and evaluate budget optimization scenarios to support investment decisions across lines of business and channelsSupport the set-up and deployment of marketing tests across paid media channels including TV, Online Video, Paid Social, SEM, Programmatic Display, and moreCollaborate with cross-functional partners across Paid Marketing, Marketing Tech and Operations, Marketing Data Science, and Marketing Strategy to support shared initiativesTriage and investigate data discrepancies across platforms and internal systems, documenting findings and escalating with full context to US-based media leads or Marketing Tech partners as needed

This role has been categorized as an Office position. “Office” employees regularly work at the Zillow India office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Who you are

Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a marketing data, analytics, or media operations role with hands-on experience supporting paid media programsProficiency in SQL for querying and working with large datasets working with platforms like DatabricksDemonstrated experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar toolsHands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or equivalent) to accelerate data workflows, QA processes, or reporting — this is a core expectation of the role, not a nice-to-haveFamiliarity with advertising platforms across paid media channels and third-party competitive tracking toolsStrong attention to detail with a genuine commitment to data quality — you catch the things others missAble to work both collaboratively and independently, making well-reasoned decisions and moving swiftly when neededStrong deadline, communication and time management; ability to work with overseas teams and meet deliverable needsBS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
