Job Description
Marketing Communications Intern
Type: Internship (Full-time)
About The Role
Tricog Health is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Intern to support the stakeholder
management process for internal marketing collateral requests. This role sits at the center of how internal teams (sales,
inside sales, business development, leadership, etc.) get their marketing and design needs fulfilled, from the first
requirement conversation to final delivery.
You'll sit in on stakeholder calls to capture requirements first-hand, then own the behind-the-scenes work: turning those
requirements into clear creative briefs, coordinating with the design and video team, and ensuring nothing gets duplicated
or built from scratch unnecessarily. The Business Analyst continues to lead stakeholder relationships throughout, with
strong performance in this role opening the door to taking on direct stakeholder ownership over time.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Capture Sit in on stakeholder calls and take detailed, structured notes on each requirement - context, purpose, audience, and
deadline
Flag any gaps or ambiguities in the requirement to clarify with the stakeholder Brief Creation Convert captured requirements into clear, structured creative briefs Ensure briefs capture objective, format, messaging direction, brand guidelines, timelines, and any reference
material
Share the draft brief for review before it's routed to the Marketing Head for task delegation Asset Audit & Gap Analysis Before a new brief is finalised, check whether the requested collateral (or something close to it) already exists in
the marketing asset library
If existing assets can be reused or lightly tweaked to meet the need, propose that route instead of a fresh build If a new asset is genuinely required, assess its priority/importance relative to the team's current workload and flag
this in the brief
Maintain a working knowledge of existing collateral (creatives, templates, videos, brochures, decks) to make this
audit fast and reliable
Cross-team Coordination Track the status of each brief as it moves through the Marketing Head → design/video team → review cycle Follow up proactively to keep timelines on track, keeping the Business Analyst informed throughout Support the Business Analyst in managing expectations between stakeholder urgency and creative team bandwidth Review & Delivery Support Coordinate the internal review process once a draft is ready Consolidate feedback and relay it clearly to the team to minimize revision rounds Track the final, approved collateral to deliver back to the stakeholder Documentation & Tracking Maintain a running tracker of all incoming requests, their status, turnaround time, and outcome Flag recurring request types or bottlenecks that could be solved with reusable templates or a self-serve asset library
What We're Looking For
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related
field
Strong written and verbal communication skills - comfortable taking clear notes in fast-moving stakeholder
conversations
High attention to detail and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple open requests at once A basic eye for design/creative quality (you don't need to design, but you should be able to judge if something
looks right)
Comfortable with MS Office/Google Workspace, Excel; familiarity with tools like Asana, Notion, or similar
trackers is a plus
Reliable and proactive - able to own the behind-the-scenes process end-to-end once trained
Good to have (not mandatory)
Prior internship experience in a marketing, communications, or operations role
What You'll Gain
End-to-end exposure to how a health-tech marketing function operates, from stakeholder intake to final creative
delivery
Direct working relationships with the Marketing Head, design team, video editors, and cross-functional business
stakeholders
A strong foundation in creative operations, briefing, and stakeholder management with a growth path toward
owning stakeholder relationships directly
