Full job description

We are seeking an experienced manager to recruit for our growing Bengaluru office. A growing number of our cloud computing engineers are based here, and your remit is to collaborate with engineering leadership and the recruiting team to continue hiring strong and talented engineers at scale. The Platform and Cloud organisation is responsible for powering Roku engineers and the streaming service that they build and maintain. We're growing at record speed and need a leader up to this task, pushing the boundaries of our craft and keeping common sense as the organisational north star.

Responsibilities:

Partner closely with engineering leaders to bring in talent for critical roles.

You'll seek to understand the what and the why and not be afraid to ask if what we do today is the right way to approach tomorrow.

Collaborate closely with the hiring managers to ensure that the team meets hiring targets and provides a great candidate experience.

Drive innovation and be keen to explore and assess new processes, programs, and tools when needed.

Team Management:

Manage, develop, coach and motivate a team of 7+ recruiters.

Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with the members of the Talent Acquisition team.

Set clear goals for your team. You understand that clear goals make for a more confident, cohesive team experience.

Bring a focus on data. You're excited by the role data can play in improving recruiting outcomes and processes. Your experience will help you and hiring partners create the best approach to working with our business leaders and building our candidate pipelines.

Maintain data integrity, reports, and performance metrics for the team.

Act as an advocate for underrepresented talent throughout the hiring process.

Lead local recruiting initiatives and events in support of the employer brand strategy.

Requirements:

10+ years of recruiting experience leading senior business partners to successful hiring outcomes, and 5+ years of experience managing in-house TA for a product company.

Comfort with forecasting recruiting outcomes and helping collectively guide the team towards reaching their goals.

Exceptional command of the recruiting process, including building recruiter, engineering executive, and hiring manager relationships.

Experience applying recruitment data to provide insights and lead behaviour change (where needed).

Demonstrable experience driving strategic projects from creation to launch to improve outcomes.

Solid track record in results and moving at a pace to meet the company's scaling needs.

Ambitious and intentional about diversity and inclusion.

High sense of urgency and accuracy, with the ability to recognise, take on and/or delegate priorities.
