About The Role

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead two equally important charters: HR Business Partnering for the 3P/contract workforce and Employee Relations.

The role will manage a team of 6 direct reports supporting office, work-from-home, and field-based employees across multiple businesses and locations. The incumbent will partner closely with Business Leaders, HR Leadership, Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Payroll, Ethics and Investigations, and staffing partners.

The role requires strong business understanding, people leadership, ER expertise, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to manage complex and sensitive matters with fairness, maturity, and speed.

What You Will Do

Partner with Business Leaders and Finance teams on workforce planning, headcount budgeting, organizational design, productivity, cost optimization, and workforce deployment.Maintain visibility on headcount, hiring, vacancies, redeployments, contract renewals, non-renewals, attrition, organizational structure, and workforce costs. Partner with managers on performance management, talent development, succession planning, retention, and performance improvement plans. Use workforce data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities and recommend appropriate business and people interventions. Lead the Employee Relations charter across businesses and locations, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution of employee concerns. Manage complex cases involving misconduct, fraud, harassment, absenteeism, behavioural concerns, conflicts of interest, dual employment, bribery, and policy violations. Lead or oversee workplace investigations, including complaint assessment, interviews, evidence review, documentation, findings, and recommendations. Partner with Legal, Ethics and Investigations, POSH committees, Business Leaders, and HR Leadership on complex or high-risk matters. Guide HRBPs and managers on grievance handling, corrective action, disciplinary processes, performance concerns, and sensitive employee conversations. Ensure ER decisions follow organizational policies, applicable laws, principles of natural justice, and established precedents. Provide governance oversight for hiring, onboarding, background verification, attendance, payroll inputs, insurance, contract renewals, and exits. Monitor compliance with minimum wages, statutory requirements, labour laws, contractor obligations, and internal policies. Conduct periodic audits, review vendor performance, and strengthen SOPs, controls, dashboards, and governance mechanisms. Lead, coach, and develop six direct reports across the HRBP and ER charters, with clear goals, accountability, and operating rhythms. Build team capability in business partnering, investigations, documentation, data analysis, labour-law compliance, and stakeholder management. Review key deliverables and escalations while enabling team members to independently manage their respective businesses and responsibilities.

What You Will Need

6 - 10 years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to both HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations.Experience managing a large, distributed contract, third-party, fixed-term, field, operations, or high-volume workforce. Proven experience handling complex ER cases, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, performance concerns, and fraud-related matters. Strong experience partnering with senior leaders on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, performance, talent, and attrition. Good understanding of labour laws, statutory compliance, minimum wages, contractor governance, and audit requirements. Experience managing staffing partners and governing employee-lifecycle processes. Prior experience leading and developing an HRBP or ER team is essential. Strong stakeholder management, communication, conflict resolution, investigation, documentation, and data-analysis capabilities. Sound judgment, high ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential matters independently. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-pressure environment. Willingness to travel and support teams across multiple locations. MBA/PGDM or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Human Resources. Certification in Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, POSH, or workplace investigations will be an added advantage.
