About the RoleWe are looking for a Financial Reporting professional to manage statutory financial statements, regulatory disclosures, and audit coordination for our NBFC entity/entities. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge (Ind AS) and hands-on NBFC regulatory reporting experience.Key Responsibilities• Prepare and finalize standalone/consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, notes to accounts)• Handle month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing, including schedules, reconciliations, and MIS reporting• Prepare RBI regulatory returns and disclosures applicable to NBFCs (e.g., NBS returns, SBR framework disclosures, ALM statements, provisioning as per RBI/Ind AS 109)• Manage statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit requirements — coordinate with auditors, prepare audit schedules, and resolve audit queries/observations• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS 109, 115, 116 as relevant) and RBI Master Directions• Assist in related party transaction (RPT) documentation and disclosures per Ind AS 24 and RBI RPT Directions• Support DTA/DTL computations and tax provisioning• Maintain audit trail compliance and internal financial controls (IFC) documentation• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Credit, Operations, Compliance) for accurate financial data capture.Required • Skills Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, RBI NBFC regulatory framework, and Companies Act provisions• Hands-on experience with financial statement finalization and audit closure• Proficiency in Excel (advanced); exposure to ERP/accounting systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or NBFC-specific loan management systems)• Good understanding of NBFC-specific areas: provisioning norms, FLDG/contingent liability treatment, co- lending/securitization accounting• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple audit/regulatory timelines• Good communication skills for auditor and stakeholder coordinationGood to Have• Prior NBFC/BFSI sector experience (mandatory preference)• Exposure to RBI inspections or regulatory audits• Experience with automation of reporting processes
Experience 2-3 years (CA, post-qualification) / 4–7 years (Inter CA with NBFC background)Qualification CA / Inter CA (semi-qualified with strong NBFC/BFSI exposure also considered)
