Role Overview:
As a Data Scientist in Bangalore, you will be instrumental in leveraging cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to extract actionable insights from vast financial datasets.
This role involves hands-on development of predictive models, natural language processing solutions, and generative AI applications, collaborating closely with product teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex data challenges into robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models, including deep learning and traditional ML algorithms, to solve complex problems in financial markets for internal and external stakeholders.
- Apply expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to create innovative solutions for text analysis, content generation, and intelligent automation within financial data ecosystems.
- Conduct rigorous data exploration, feature engineering, and statistical analysis to identify patterns, validate hypotheses, and ensure the integrity and relevance of data used in model development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability for global financial platforms.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and model implications clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing product strategy and business decisions.
- Research and evaluate new data science methodologies, tools, and technologies, particularly in the areas of AI and ML, to continuously enhance our analytical capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skillset:
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms using Python, with a strong understanding of libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in applying Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI techniques to real-world problems, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and understanding of model architectures.
- Solid proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy), coupled with a strong foundation in statistics and experimental design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to translate abstract business challenges into well-defined data science problems and practical solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts and insights effectively to diverse audiences and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field from a reputable institution.
