Legal Manager
Location: Bangalore, IndiaExperience: 5–8 years
About the role
The role will focus on contract review and execution, customer dispute resolution, and legal support for M&A transactions. We are looking for someone who can offer practical advice, work closely with business teams, and take ownership of matters through to closure.
Key responsibilities
Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize customer, vendor, partner, and other commercial agreements.Coordinate contract execution and maintain clear records of signed agreements and key obligations.Manage customer disputes, including reviewing claims, advising on responses, negotiating resolutions, and coordinating with external counsel when needed.Support M&A activities, including legal due diligence, transaction documentation, and closing requirements.Advise internal teams on contractual risks and help develop workable solutions.Improve legal templates and processes to support timely, consistent decision-making.
RequirementsLL.B. degree with 5–8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an in-house role or a law firm with a strong commercial practice.Strong experience in commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation.Experience handling customer disputes and working with business stakeholders to resolve them.Exposure to M&A transactions and legal due diligence.Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple matters independently.Company Secretary (CS) qualification will be an added advantage.
