About The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Legal Associate to support the day-to-day legal operations of Alaan’s B2B fintech business across the GCC. This role is designed to own execution and legal operations, enabling the Head of Legal. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing teams, supporting commercial contracting, legal workflows, and compliance hygiene in a fast-growing Series A–B fintech environment. This is a strong opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who wants broad exposure, high ownership, and a clear path to growth in a fintech environment.
What You'll Do
Commercial & Operational SupportSupport Sales and Business teams with day-to-day legal needs across UAE and India jurisdictions.Review, draft, and manage standard commercial agreements (MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, vendor and partnership contracts).Coordinate contract execution, tracking, renewals, and basic lifecycle management. Legal Operations and AutomationOwn contract management processes and legal trackers.Contribute and maintain templates, playbooks, precedent libraries and AI processes.Support implementation of scalable legal processes and workflows. Cross-Functional SupportAssist product, marketing and operations teams to ensure activities align with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.Support ongoing corporate governance and entity maintenance. Support internal stakeholders with practical legal guidance on standard use cases.
What We Are Looking For
Qualified lawyer in a common-law or civil-law jurisdiction.4-6 years of experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.Experience with commercial contracts (MSA, NDAs, DPAs) and operational legal support.Familiarity with the UAE and India financial regulatory landscape.Working understanding of financial services regulation and corporate compliance.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Practical, execution-focused mindset with good business judgment.
