Lead Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Work closely with product management, development, and support teams and proactively lead quality function to build in quality across SDLC stages.

Certify the functional and non-functional aspects using the QA best standards to deliver top quality products.

Take ownership of strategic products (spanning multiple modules) and implement STLC processes.

Design automation frameworks (using AI, Java, Python & PlayWright) that can be used to implement automation for API, Functional or UI features of the products.

Use AI / Generative AI to create testing solutions and associated processes.

Experience and Skills

8-12 years of total experience in testing enterprise software/product with 8+ years of experience in automation framework development and design for APIs, Integrations, UI/UX, Performance, Security, etc.

Fluent in AI with practical adoption experience (AI, Generative AI, prompt engineering, context design, models, evaluation, etc.).

Proven experience with automating testing for REST or SOAP APIs and Integrations using necessary tools like RestAssured, Postman, Swagger, Katalon, JMeter, etc.

Hands on experience with designs and programming/scripting languages (Java, Python). Development or white box testing experience will be preferred.

Advanced knowledge of web services, web applications, and related areas of non-functional testing like Performance, Scalability, etc.

Hands-on with Github source control, Test Mgmt tools and JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both product and technical teams.

Experience working in CI/CD model with SaaS and Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relative work experience

Working experience in Retail/E-Commerce domain or knowledge of MDM/PIM

**This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week in office at our Bangalore location**
