Role Summary
The Project Lead - Capital Projects will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic Greenfield and Brownfield capital expansion projects across Aliaxis India. The role will provide end-to-end leadership for project planning, engineering, execution, commissioning, and handover, ensuring delivery within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives.
The incumbent will lead the Hyderabad Greenfield Project (Phase 1 & Phase 2) and oversee Brownfield expansion initiatives across manufacturing locations in India, playing a critical role in supporting the organization's capacity creation and growth agenda.
Roles And Responsibility
Supplier Evaluation & OnboardingSupport identification, evaluation, and onboarding of trading suppliers and contract manufacturers.Coordinate with internal teams (Quality, Technical, Finance) during supplier assessment and approval.Maintain updated supplier master data and documentation.Commercial & PO ManagementSupport RFQs, price evaluation, and commercial negotiations under guidance of procurement leads.Release purchase orders in line with approved commercials, timelines, and internal processes.Ensure timely PO acknowledgement and confirmation from suppliers.Order Expediting & Delivery ManagementActively track order progress from PO release to final delivery.Follow up with suppliers on production status, dispatch schedules, and logistics.Proactively flag risks related to delays, shortages, or deviations and drive timely resolution.Coordinate corrective actions to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries.Cross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and Logistics teams to align delivery commitments.Support smooth execution of customer orders by ensuring timely material availability.Serve as the primary operational coordination point between internal teams and suppliers.Maintain trackers for POs, order status, deliveries, and pending actions.Ensure documentation completeness for audits and compliance
Requirement
