About Role :
As an Lead Associate - Category Demand Management within our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing the demand for various categories of products or services. With an expected experience range of 2 -6 years, you will be involved in analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs effectively.
The role of Lead Associate - Category Demand Management involves closely monitoring market dynamics, collaborating with vendors, and internal teams to plan and execute demand strategies that drive sales and profitability. You will work towards maximizing customer satisfaction by ensuring the availability of products that align with customer preferences and demand patterns.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Role:
Define and achieve the growth strategy for your category or business units - by considering the selection available, pricing and discount targets.This role involves managing the Pricing, demand generation, and driving customer initiatives for the Category or Business Units.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Pricing Strategy for the categoryYou will be responsible for owning the topline and bottom-line targets for the category you will be managing.Responsible for driving the revenue and growth for the categories - by growing the brands on the platform, increasing customer acquisition and retention for the categoriesResponsible for driving the supply side selection metrics for your categories and driving the right selection width and depth for those categories.
Qualifications & Experience
3-6 years of total; 2+ years experience in e-commerce/high growth startup/ analytics fields will be an added advantageTechnical Skills: Must Have: MS Excel, SQL, Good to Have: Power BI, PythonMust manage multiple senior stakeholders independentlyHigh competency in written and verbal communication skills (preparation of business documentation, presenting to senior stakeholders a must)Able to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment and to interact effectively with all levels of management.Results oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, can work individually with minimal or no supervision
