Full job description
Utilises knowledge of computer software and hardware to analyse, design, implement, operate and provide technical support for information technology in one or more information systems-based functions, such as data networking, database design, hardware and software operations, software development, systems design, training and security.
Responsibilities:
Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap aligned with the enterprise IT strategy.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development and platform teams.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, platform standards, and governance frameworks.
Architect integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and integration frameworks.
Review and approve solution designs, customisations, and platform enhancements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical architecture.
Lead platform upgrades, performance optimisation, and platform health initiatives.
Drive adoption of ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities to enable AI-powered productivity across the platform.
Design and implement Generative AI use cases, including incident summarisation, knowledge article generation, case summarisation, and agent assistance.
Enable Now Assist integration with Virtual Agent, Knowledge Management, ITSM workflows, and case management.
Evaluate and recommend new ServiceNow platform features, AI capabilities, and modules.
Establish development standards, documentation practices, and architectural design patterns.
Support major ServiceNow implementations, migrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in ServiceNow architecture or senior platform development roles.
Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and development.
Strong experience with: ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs), Flow Designer and workflow automation, Integration Hub and REST/SOAP integrations, CMDB architecture and ServiceNow data model.
Experience implementing ServiceNow Now Assist features and AI-enabled workflows.
Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multiple ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, ITBM / SPM, HRSD, and CSM.
Hands-on experience implementing Now Assist for ITSM, Virtual Agent, and Knowledge Management.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
Experience working with AI-driven automation, digital workflow transformation, or enterprise platform strategy.
