Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead - Power Platform with deep hands-on expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystem. This role is a senior technical contributor focused on designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing analytics and low-code solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, along with advanced data modelling and integration capabilities. This role requires end-to-end technical ownership of solution development, including governance, access management, and platform optimisation.

Preferred experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry, particularly within the Supply Chain domain, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions using the Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

Develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports with optimised data models and efficient DAX calculations.

Build and manage scalable data models leveraging Dataverse and Azure data services.

Implement and maintain Power Platform environments, including environment strategy, solution management, and deployment pipelines.

Configure and manage on-premises and cloud data gateways for secure and reliable data connectivity.

Implement role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security (RLS), and data governance policies across Power Platform solutions.

Develop workflows and automations using Power Automate to streamline business processes and integrate systems.

Build canvas and model-driven apps using Power Apps, ensuring usability, performance, and scalability.

Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Databricks.

Design and optimise data ingestion, transformation, and reporting pipelines.

Develop and optimise complex SQL queries and data transformations.

Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across Power Platform and BI solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and best practices within an agile development setup.

Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to junior developers as needed.

Requirements:

6-8 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Power BI Server, Power Platform, Power Apps, and Copilot.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, information technology, or a related field.

Experience with implementing Copilot on digital products.

Strong experience with the Microsoft Azure stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Databricks.

Advanced proficiency in DAX queries and data modelling.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Advanced-level proficiency in SQL querying and the ability to write and optimise complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.

Familiarity with Microsoft Gen AI capabilities, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the ability to leverage these tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.

Experience leading a high-performing team of Power BI developers.

Experience with agile methodology.

Must have experience working in Power Apps, Power Platform Server and Power Automate.

Desired Qualifications:

A master's degree is preferred, with a specialisation in business intelligence or related areas.

Good to have Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Power BI, or Azure.

Preferred experience working in the CPG industry, with a strong understanding of supply chain and commercial workspace.

Exposure to enterprise-scale Power Platform implementations and large datasets.
