IT Project Manager

Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid)

Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST (to overlap with US business hours)

Team: CAMP - CA's Major Projects Office

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional technology initiatives that support our global EdTech platform. This role partners closely with US-based business and technology teams to deliver high-impact projects across enterprise applications, product engineering, integrations, and process transformation.

The ideal candidate is an independent leader who can drive projects from initiation through delivery, manage multiple stakeholders, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure successful execution in a hybrid project management environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drive project planning, execution, governance, status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.Independently facilitate project meetings, decision-making sessions, and executive updates.Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and executive dashboards.Identify project risks and dependencies early and drive mitigation plans.Coordinate cross-functional teams located across India and the United States.Monitor quarterly project milestones and key delivery metrics to ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives.Ensure timely escalation of issues and facilitate resolution through appropriate governance channels.Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Business Operations, and external vendors.Own and independently drive Steering Committee (SteerCo) reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and executive-ready project updates.

Project Management Methodology

Basic understanding of Agile methodologies is sufficient.Experience working in a Hybrid delivery model is preferred, as the organization primarily follows a combination of Agile and traditional project management practices.PMP or other project management certification preferred

Preferred Experience

Exposure to Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related platforms) and experience managing projects involving Salesforce implementations, enhancements, or integrations.Familiarity with reporting automation, business intelligence, and data visualization concepts.Identify opportunities to leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve project delivery and team productivity.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.8-12 years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years of managing enterprise technology projects.Proven experience managing medium to large cross-functional technology initiatives.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working directly with US-based business teams.Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or similar.
