Full job description

We are looking for a skilled iOS Engineer to join the engineering team at Swiggy. You will be responsible for building high-performance, high-concurrency mobile features that power seamless real-time experiences for millions of users across India.

Responsibilities:

Architect, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver intuitive consumer features with low checkout latency and smooth 60 FPS UI rendering.

Optimise mobile app performance, detect memory leaks, and eliminate retain cycles using Xcode Instruments.

Enforce solid mobile architecture standards using MVVM / Clean Architecture and modular SPM setups.

Write reliable automated unit and UI tests using XCTest to ensure high stability and minimal crash rates.

Requirements:

Experience: 4 to 6 years of hands-on native iOS engineering experience.

Core Languages and UI: Proficient in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.

Reactive Concurrency: Deep experience with Combine, async/await, GCD, and thread-safe data handling.

Architecture: Strong expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.

Networking and Data: Proficient with REST APIs, JSON parsing, URLSession, and persistence mechanisms (Core Data, Realm, Keychain).

Testing and Debugging: Practical experience with XCTest, Xcode Instruments (Leaks, Allocations), and crash analytics tools (Crashlytics/Sentry).

Work Mode: Comfort and capability to work in a 100% full-time remote setup.

Good to Have (Bonus):

Background working in high-scale B2C product environments (Fintech, Quick-Commerce, Delivery, E-Commerce).

Exposure to Objective-C, WebSockets, or multi-module SPM build architectures.
