As Software Test Automation Intern this role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software test automation, Python, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and automated functional and regression testing while working on real-world engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, an interest in software quality and automation, and a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with developers and senior test engineers.

How You'll Make An Impact

Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using PythonDevelop and maintain BDD-based test scenarios using BehaveExecute functional and regression tests and analyze resultsIdentify, document, and support resolution of software defectsInvestigate test failures and identify root causesUpdate and maintain automation scriptsCollaborate with developers, senior testers, and engineering teamsLearn and apply best practices in testing and automation

Programming: Python 3.xTest Automation: Selenium and automated functional and regression testingBDD: Understanding of BDD and Behave frameworkSoftware Fundamentals: OOP, Data Structures & AlgorithmsDeveloper Tools: Git, GitHub, VS Code, DockerAPIs & Debugging: REST APIs, debugging and troubleshootingStrong programming and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of Python fundamentalsInterest in software testing and automationBasic understanding of REST APIs and debuggingGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn new technologiesKnowledge of C++ or Ruby is an added advantageBasic knowledge of RubyExposure to software development or test automation projectsFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts

Education

Candidates should be pursuing the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science & engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

The team partners closely with development, architecture, and product teams to enable high-quality engineering delivery through automation, standardization, and modern cloud-native practices.
