Full job description
We are looking for an experienced infrastructure platform engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in enabling engineering teams by building robust platforms to enhance developer productivity, improving automation, and ensuring high availability across environments.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Infrastructure Platform:
Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure.
Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Ensure high standards of reliability, security, and observability across all environments.
Build automation for provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and incident response.
Operate and improve containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Building internal tools to enhance developer productivity.
Reliability and Operations:
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to meet defined SLAs.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
Drive platform reliability, scalability, and resilience improvements.
Collaboration and Delivery:
Partner with application, data, and product engineering teams to understand infrastructure needs.
Contribute to system design discussions and architectural reviews.
Ensure timely delivery of stable and cost-efficient infrastructure solutions.
Quality and Best Practices:
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure and pipelines.
Write automated tests for infrastructure.
Drive adoption of best practices for cost optimisation and scalability.
Requirements:
4-6 years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Expertise in Terraform / CloudFormation and cloud-native services.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and orchestration.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Ruby or Java)
Solid understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.
Nice to Have:
Experience with security, compliance, or cloud cost optimisation.
Exposure to SRE practices and production on-call ownership.
Background in fintech or transaction-heavy systems.
