Role Overview
ExperiencedSenior HPC Engineer / Architectspecializing inLinux-based high-performance computing (HPC) environments,EDA workflows, andautomation-driven infrastructure. Proven expertise in designing, managing, and optimisinglarge-scale distributed HPC clusterssupportingASIC EDA workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, deploy, and managelarge-scale distributed HPC environmentsacross global locations, supportingASIC and GPU compute clustersDesign and implementinfrastructure automationusingAnsible, Shell, and Pythonfor system lifecycle managementAdminister and optimize workload schedulers (LSF, Slurm, NC) includingqueue configuration, fair-share policies, and job prioritizationPerformdeep troubleshooting and root cause analysisacross compute, storage, networking, and scheduler layersCollaborate with engineering teams to improveEDA workload performance and efficiencyin global HPC environmentsDevelop and deployself-service automation solutionsto reduce manual effort and improve system reliabilityManage and supportEDA ecosystemincluding tool deployment (Cadence, Synopsys), licensing, and workflow optimizationImplementmonitoring & observability frameworksusing tools likeSplunk, Grafanafor proactive issue detectionDrivecapacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimizationfor HPC workloadsCreate and maintaintechnical documentation, runbooks, and operational standardsProvidetechnical leadership and mentoring, influencing HPC architecture and long-term strategy
