Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented NOC L1 Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a background in telecommunications, basic hands-on experience in KPI monitoring and incident management, and the willingness to work in a 24×7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor network performance and service KPIs on a real-time basis. Identify, analyze, and report network alarms, alerts, and performance issues. Create, log, and manage incidents/tickets in accordance with defined SLAs. Perform initial troubleshooting and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams as per escalation matrix and guidelines. Coordinate with internal teams and, where required, external vendors for issue resolution. Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions. Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders during incidents. Adhere to shift schedules and support 24×7 NOC operations.

Job Requirements

Educational background in telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in NOC, Network Monitoring, or a similar role. Hands-on experience in KPI monitoring and incident creation/management. Basic understanding of telecom networks and concepts. Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems is an advantage. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple incidents simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
