About Role: This role would be working closely with the finance, business teams and CXOs in articulating the broad business plans and targets for the company. He/ She would also work with relevant stakeholders in exploring opportunities pertaining to M&A.
About Team: The S&I team identifies white spaces in focus and adjacent categories, builds a "where to play, how to win" thesis, and makes the build-vs-buy call — deciding whether to build a capability in-house or pursue it through investment, acquisition, or partnership. Beyond sourcing the right targets, the team stays accountable for integration, providing strategic and operational support to ensure each initiative succeeds
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed financial analysis; develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analysis in support of potential transactionsWork with business units to assess and prioritize transactions to best align with business strategy and growth plans.Assist in the preparation of presentations and recommendations for senior management review and for board meetingsWork closely with finance, legal teams and investment banking experts to support the due-diligence processInvestigate and evaluate mergers and acquisition opportunities including but not limited to identifying prospects
Education / Professional Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related technical degreeChartered Accountants with prior experience in diligence processes will also be consideredMBA or equivalent degree is preferred but not mandatory2+ years of working in investment banking, corporate development, venture capital investing is preferred
Required:
