Full job description

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.

Build robust and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.

Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications.

Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.

Design and optimise databases, queries, and data models.

Implement scalable and reliable microservices and distributed systems.

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following software engineering best practices.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and troubleshooting.

Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.

Ensure application security, reliability, and performance.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements:

6-8 years of professional software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development.

Strong backend development experience with Java / Node.js / Python or equivalent.

Strong frontend experience with React.js / Angular / Vue.js .

Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.

Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP and cloud-based application development.

Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

Experience with Git and modern software development practices.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Experience in e-commerce, retail, fintech, or high-traffic consumer applications.

Experience designing highly scalable systems handling high transaction volumes.

Knowledge of Kafka or other event-streaming technologies.

Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.

Exposure to system design and architecture.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong in both backend and frontend development.

Comfortable working on end-to-end product development.

Experienced in building scalable and high-performance applications.

Strong in system design and problem-solving.

Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
