About Morphle Labs
Morphle is a growth-stage company that builds robotics and physical AI for cancer diagnostics. It is headquartered in Bangalore, with 150+ people, and has a presence in the USA and the UK. It is funded by Y Combinator, Inflexor Ventures, and other marquee investors.
One product line is in steady growth. A second is in the go-to-market phase. Morphle has a culture of fast-paced innovation, with more than 80 patents, and manufactures in-house. That combination is operationally heavy.
With the new product line and intense demand from international markets, the company is on a path to hypergrowth.
Role Overview
You look after financial planning, controlling, and the reports people actually use.
The main question in this job is simple:
L1 : Once the money is in the bank, how is it being used?
L2 : Whats the better way to use it?
You also keep the company fund-raise ready. That means regular MIS, records in order, and filings, approvals, and certifications done on time.
This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role. You write the SOPs, put the processes in place, and run them yourself /closely work with operations team while you own the end results.
Finance Experience In a Manufacturing Company Matters.
What you will do
Cost, budgets, and reporting
Track how money is used after it comes in: cost structure, cost norms, and spend against the plan.
Say what a better use of that money looks like, and work it through with the operations team. You own the end result.
Work with other teams on the annual operating plan, follow it through the year, and set cost norms.
Run budgeting and forecasting so the plan stays accurate and lines up with what the company is trying to do.
Get MIS, cash flow, and Budget vs Actual out on time, with the numbers right.
Set up a regular reporting cadence. Call out variances, find out why, suggest a better use of the money, and follow up until it is done.
Give the CEO and other leads a clear picture of cash, cost, how the business is doing, and where the money would be better used.
Controls, compliance, and staying fund-raise ready
Put controls in place so company assets are safe, and the numbers can be trusted.
Keep books, records, and statutory filings in shape for a fundraise: regular MIS, a clean trail, and paperwork that holds up when someone checks it.
Handle filings, approvals, and certifications, including forex. Work with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions.
Stay on top of audits through the year, so nothing is left to the last month.
Watch for rule changes that affect finance, and update how we work.
Day-to-day finance
Run the daily work of the finance team.
Write the SOPs for close, reporting, payments, compliance, and documentation, put them in place, and run them yourself.
Where the work sits with operations, work closely with that team and still own the end result.
Work with other teams so financial processes are tighter, and cost and cash numbers are easy to get.
Join planning conversations and bring the numbers: what things cost, and where the money would be better used.
What we are looking for 5+ years in finance, with a good part of that in a manufacturing company.
You have built SOPs and finance processes yourself, and run them while working closely with operations. You owned the end result.
You have owned MIS, cash flow, Budget vs Actual, annual plans, and cost control, and you have pointed to a better way to use the money.
You know Indian filings, approvals, certifications, and forex, and you have worked with auditors and tax authorities.
You know US and EU tax law, and forex and customs.
CA, MBA, or CFA is a bonus and is not required when the experience is strong.
You have used new AI tools to get work done faster, and you are willing to keep adopting them. This is a must.
You write and speak clearly with founders, other leads, auditors, and banks.
You are comfortable in a fast-moving manufacturing company that is still building its finance systems, and you will do the detailed work.
Why Morphle Labs
You play a key role in driving hypergrowth for unique & premium product lines, with very large enterprise customers across the USA and the EU.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact leadership role, with significant visibility.
You work closely with the founders on strategic decisions and the long-term company roadmap.
