Estimation Engineer

Company Description Brigade Group is one of India’s leading real estate developers.Role Description The Estimation Engineer role at Brigade Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Estimation Engineer will prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for hotel and mixed-use projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with design specifications and project requirements. This role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents, coordinating with design, procurement, and project teams, and providing cost inputs during planning and budgeting. The Estimation Engineer will support vendor negotiations with data-driven cost analyses, track cost variations, and assist in value engineering to optimize project budgets. The role also includes maintaining estimation records, updating rate databases, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimation processes and standards.Qualifications Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and project estimation, with the ability to produce accurate and detailed cost breakdowns.Solid foundation in civil engineering, including understanding of construction materials, methods, structural systems, and site practices.Research and analytical skills to benchmark rates, study market trends, and validate costing assumptions.Negotiation and coordination skills to work effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders on cost and scope discussions.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certifications in estimation or quantity surveying are an advantage.Proficiency with estimation and quantity surveying tools, MS Excel, and project documentation software.Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work to timelines in a fast-paced project environment.Prior experience in real estate especially in hotel projects in India is preferred.
