We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Engineering Manager to build and lead a high-performing team at the core of our transaction intelligence platform. You bring a strong technical foundation, a track record of growing engineers, and the judgment to balance execution speed with long-term architectural health in a fast-moving fintech environment.

What Will You Get to Work On?

As an Engineering Manager at Osfin.ai, you will:

Team Building & Mentorship: Hire, coach, and grow a high-performing team of engineers, setting clear growth paths and fostering a culture of ownership.

Technical Roadmap Ownership: Partner with founders and product leadership to translate business priorities into a scalable technical roadmap.

Hands-On Leadership: Stay close to the codebase, reviewing designs, unblocking engineers, and stepping in on critical systems when needed.

Shape Engineering Culture & DNA: Establish engineering best practices, processes, and standards that scale as the team grows.

What Do We Expect From You?

Management Experience: 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring engineering teams, in addition to prior hands-on engineering experience.

Technical Depth: Strong proficiency in backend systems, with hands-on experience in Java/J2EE frameworks (Hibernate, Spring, MVC), relational databases (MySQL), and RESTful services.

System Design: Proven ability to design and review architecture for high-concurrency, distributed systems at scale.

Hiring & Team Building: Experience building engineering teams from the ground up, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication skills to align engineering execution with product and business goals.

On-Site Collaboration: Work full-time from our office in Bengaluru to drive close-knit engineering alignment and leadership.

Startup Mindset: High hustle, adaptability, and comfort operating with significant ownership in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
