SDET QA/Test Engineer (2-4 Years Experience)

About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in software testing, preferably within Compliance, AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening, Payment Screening, or Financial Services domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our products through comprehensive testing activities across the software development lifecycle. Candidates with exposure to AI-driven testing, automation, and validation of AI-enabled solutions will have an added advantage.

What You Will Be Doing

Analyze business, functional, and regulatory requirements to define test strategies and test scenariosDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test casesPerform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing supportValidate compliance workflows, AML monitoring, sanctions screening, KYC processes, and regulatory reporting requirementsExecute API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent toolsPerform backend data validation using SQL queries and database testing techniquesIdentify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management toolsCollaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Compliance SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure high product qualityParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectivesSupport test automation initiatives and contribute to continuous quality improvementValidate and test AI-powered features, machine learning models, intelligent screening solutions, or GenAI-integrated workflows where applicable

What You Bring

2-4 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality AssuranceStrong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Management Life CycleExperience in Functional, Integration, Regression, and System TestingHands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platformsGood knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshootingExperience in API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent toolsFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesUnderstanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar toolsBasic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI conceptsPreferably knowledge of Fraud & Compliance applicable to Financial Crime

Experience Or Exposure To

AI-assisted testing tools and techniquesPrompt engineering and validation of GenAI outputsAI-driven test case generation and test automationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferable Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022 payments, or banking compliance systems is preferred

Education~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. AI/ML certifications or relevant training will be considered an advantage.
