Full job description
We are seeking a skilled Engineer I / II to join our core engineering practice. In this role, you will own the entire lifecycle of our software from development and automated release pipelines to production monitoring and on-call support. You will work closely with global teams to build scalable solutions that ensure our products seamlessly meet guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Develop, test, and automate production-level systems using Agile methodologies.
DevOps and Support: Own release pipelines, actively monitor key metrics, and participate in on-call support rotations to ensure high reliability.
Collaboration and Community: Partner with global teams to deliver technical solutions and actively contribute to our Engineering Community of Practice.
Troubleshooting: Conduct research to optimize systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Requirements:
Experience: 7-8 years of engineering experience required for the Engineer II level. A degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Core Technical Must-Haves: Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), and functional knowledge of RMS (Retail Merchandising System).
Integrations and Scripting: Hands-on experience with RMS SaaS integrations and Unix Shell scripting.
Oracle Retail Ecosystem: Proven experience building scalable solutions involving Oracle Retail core modules or integrations (RMS / ReSA / RIB).
Software Fundamentals: Strong grasp of automated testing, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
