General Summary

Job Summary:

4-8 years of experience in Emulation of complex Qualcomm propriety DSP IPDSP design team is responsible for delivering high-performance DSP cores which are at the heart of Qualcomm's multi-tier SoC roadmap targeted for mobile space

Job Responsibilities

Work in emulation and silicon environments Prior experience with Emulation Platforms (FPGA Prototyping, Veloce, Palladium) Familiarity with emulation tools (Synthesis, Place and Route, Constraints, Clocking) and System Debug (Waveform generation and Content Debug support) Understand processor functionality (CPU/DSP Core) Excellent debugging abilities to resolve complex issues Validation and debugging of digital circuits Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and TCL

Skillset/Experience

6-10 years of experience in processor/ASIC performance verificationExperience in micro-architecture validation for modern high-performance, low power processorsExperience in writing tests and building infrastructure that tests performance of modern processorsExperience in application performance analysisProgramming/Scripting Skills — C, C++, Perl, Python, Shell, Make file TCISolid background and understanding of Digital Design, RTL design, improving model performance and Processor ArchitectureStrong troubleshooting, analytical and debug skillsPrior experience is performance correlation of Processor subsystems (ARM/DSP) is preferredShould have excellent inter-personal, communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environment

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
