Dimension / Scope of The Job:
This position will be responsible for Leading and Managing Continuous Improvement across all Powertrain Plants in India.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POSTION:
Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives. Achieving Monthly Target, Weekly Review, and analysis if any Gap Lead cross-functional teams to identify and analyze process improvement opportunities; streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies. Conduct data analysis to assess current processes and measure performance metrics. Facilitate and drive workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement methodologies. Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects. Implement 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, SMED or other improvement methodologies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Identify and prioritize improvement projects based on business goals. Provide guidance and support to teams on improvement tools and techniques. Data Analysis: Data-driven mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools. Implemented experience of Customer Specific requirements Good understanding of Conversion cost Knowledge on Power BI, Excel, presentation skill Six sigma (Green or yellow) Shop floor improvement tools, Time study / method study/ SMED Inventory / VSM / Bottle neck analysis
Technical Skills:
Foundry and machining process Knowledge is a must. Knowledge on CNC machines and CNC programming. Improvement Methodologies: Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives. Knowledge of Shop floor improvement and Quality improvement Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects to management
