Full job description

As a DevOps Engineer III with us, your primary responsibility will be to create systems that serve as the brains of complex distributed products. You will closely mentor younger engineers on the team. You will work on code modularity, scalability, and reusability and contribute to team building in the Engineering org.

Responsibilities:

Develop reusable Infrastructure code and testing frameworks for Infrastructure.

Develop tools and frameworks to allow Meesho engineers to provision infrastructure and manage access controls.

Design and develop solutions for cloud security, secrets management, and key rotations.

Design a centralized logging and metrics platform that can handle Meesho's scale.

Take on new infrastructure requirements and develop infrastructure as code.

Work with the Applications teams to help them onboard the container platform.

Scale the Meesho platform to handle millions of requests concurrently.

Reduce Mean Time To Recovery (MTTR) and enable High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

Requirements:

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science.

At least 4 to 6 years of in-depth and hands-on professional experience in the DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering domain.

Proficiency in Strong Systems, Linux, open source, InfraStructure Engineering, DevOps fundamentals.

Understanding of compliance and security.

Must have an in-depth understanding of SDL.

Ability to write infrastructure as code for public or private clouds.

Ability to implement modern cloud Integration architecture.

Knowledge of configuration and infra management (Chef/Puppet/Ansible and Terraform) or CI tools (Any).

Knowledge of scripting language: Python, Shell, Go (proficiency in any one).

Knowledge of container services like Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE, etc.

Knowledge of designing and implementing end-to-end monitoring solutions in the cloud.
