Full job description
MMT is looking for experienced Data Scientists who would be focused on building AI/ML personalization/recommendation systems. An ideal candidate would: Build and deploy state-of-the-art ML/deep learning models for use cases in hotels, cross-sell, Ad notification, and a few other problems that straddle across multiple lines of business. Discuss with stakeholders at various stages of the project, for data, to select an appropriate model form, and to set up an appropriate A/B experimentation framework. Requirements:
We seek individuals who are smart, have a passion to learn, are hungry to make a difference in travel-commerce in India, and are fun to work with. An ideal candidate would have the following aspects:
Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, Pyspark, or Scala.
End-to-end experience of training and deploying machine learning models.
Ideally, the models should have failed initially in a production setting, and you/your team fixed the model/data in subsequent deployments.
Strong machine learning and statistical foundation.
Ideally, but not mandatory, have trained and deployed deep learning models.
Experience working with Big Data, distributed computing is a plus, especially Spark, Hadoop or AWS /Redshift (SQL).
Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Experience working in the e-commerce domain is a plus.
BE/BTech from Tier 1 colleges (IIT/ISI/NIT/BITS/BIT/IIIT/REC) in Computer Science/Statistics/IT/ECE stream.
MS or Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Microeconomics, or consumer econometrics programs, or equivalent, is a plus.
2-4 years of work experience, which should include at least 1-2 years of experience in Data Science.
