Making an impact. What will you do?

In this role you will create scalable and production-ready data solutions that deliver measurable business value and accelerate data-driven digitalization initiativesYou will act as a key interface between application development teams and enterprise data platform teams, translating business and engineering needs into reliable data pipelines, curated data products, and reusable data servicesMoreover, you will design and develop scalable data pipelines across enterprise landscapes, including SAP S/4, engineering systems, and external data sourcesAnd you will enable reliable data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning on platforms such as SAP Datasphere / SAP Business Data Cloud, Databricks, and Microsoft FabricYou will collaborate with data platform teams to integrate application-layer requirements with platform capabilities such as Delta Lake, Spark, semantic layers, and reporting layersYou will develop and maintain data models, data products, and data services supporting analytics, AI, and digital engineering applicationsAlso you will ensure high data quality, monitoring, governance, and reusable data engineering patterns across the capture-transform-curate-consume lifecycle

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

You have strong programming skills in Python and SQLYou have experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and large-scale data processingYou have hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, SAP Datasphere / SAP Business Data Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable cloud data platformsFurther, you have experience with data modelling, data governance, and building data productsIn addition you have a good understanding of how high-quality data enables analytics, AI/ML, reporting, and digital applications in production environments (understanding of SAP data landscapes is a strong plus)You have a strong ownership and problem-solving mindset with an agile working style focused on measurable business valueYou have good communication skills and the ability to work across teams, acting as a bridge between application development, business stakeholders, and platform/data teamsAnd you have a structured approach to data quality, governance, monitoring, and standardization
