Full job description

Responsibilities:

Lead and execute end-to-end data migration efforts, including planning, design, execution, validation, and post-migration support.

Analyse legacy data structures (VSAM, DB2) and design transformation strategies into modern RDBMS and AWS environments.

Develop and maintain data pipelines and automation scripts using Python.

Design, implement, and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical).

Manage and administer AWS RDS environments, ensuring high availability, performance optimisation, and security compliance.

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Ensure adherence to data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.

Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolution.

Prepare technical documentation for data models, migration workflows, and architecture designs.
