Strong SQL and working proficiency in Python or another relevant scripting language, with experience in cloud integration, ELT/ETL, version control and CI/CD.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical mod-els and reusable data products.

Experience applying data quality, metadata, lineage, master data and access-control practic-es to production solutions.

Strong stakeholder communication and technical mentoring skills, including collaboration across product, engineering and business teams in different locations.

Useful, but not essential:

Understanding of commercial or CRM data and omnichannel analytics; HCP and Sales do-main experience.

Familiarity with Power BI or comparable BI tools, semantic models and data requirements for AI/ML applications, including governed LLM integrations.

Pharmaceutical or life-sciences experience.

What you'll do

You will own solution and data architecture for assigned Common Data Platform initiatives and enable analytics and AI consumption within Enterprise AI architecture standards.

Own solution designs for assigned CDP initiatives, from source integration through curated data products to consumption layers, and support centralisation and reuse across IO regions and affiliates.

Design scalable ingestion, transformation and serving patterns using Snowflake and Dbt, embedding performance, cost, resilience, data quality, lineage, metadata, access control and retention requirements.

Map HCP and Sales sources, CRM integrations and master data relationships, and translate business requirements into clear models with defined ownership and acceptance criteria.

Design curated datasets and semantic models for consistent reporting, self-service analytics and approved AI use cases, with Dbt modelling, testing, version control, CI/CD and monitor-ing.

Partner with AI Product Managers and commercial teams to assess use-case feasibility, ex-plain design trade-offs in business terms and validate complex requirements through target-ed proofs of concept.

Present designs, risks and recommendations to architecture forums, review critical changes, mentor GBS and vendor engineers, and support technical problem resolution and operation-al handover.

Who you'll work with

You will join Enterprise AI, HCP AI Solutions within Global Business Services in Bangalore, part of Enterprise IT & Quality, where colleagues stay close to stakeholders across the value chain to deliver trusted technology, high quality and responsible ways of working.

You will work closely with AI Product Managers and HCP AI Solutions leadership, IO-SO and IO FAST stakeholders, IO regions and affiliates, GBS engineering and architecture teams, CDP plat-form and enterprise architecture teams, and data owners, security and privacy specialists, as well as vendors and external consultants. You will work in a global environment where your technical judgement shapes decisions that reach across regions and affiliates. The role offers room to build domain expertise, mentor en-gineers and architects, and broaden your skills through complex, enterprise-scale delivery at the forefront of AI and data.

You will be trusted to make and explain design decisions within agreed standards, supported to perform at your best, and part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration and an inclusive, respectful way of working across cultures.
