Company Fitness Trainer

Location: Bengaluru | Employment Type: Full-Time | Work Mode: Work from Office

About the Role

Unacademy is looking for an energetic and experienced Company Fitness Trainer to drive employee fitness and wellness initiatives during general working hours. The role will focus on conducting engaging fitness sessions, encouraging participation, and building a healthy and active workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular group fitness and workout sessions for employees.

Plan sessions around strength training, functional fitness, mobility, stretching, HIIT, core workouts, etc.

Design beginner to intermediate fitness programs based on individual fitness levels.

Conduct basic fitness assessments and provide guidance on exercises and workout routines.

Drive employee participation through fitness challenges, wellness activities, and workshops.

Plan and manage a weekly/monthly fitness calendar in coordination with the People/HR team.

Ensure safe exercise practices, proper warm-ups/cool-downs, and appropriate modifications.

Track participation and gather employee feedback to improve programs.

What Were Looking For

25 years of experience as a Fitness Trainer, Personal Trainer, Corporate Fitness Trainer, or similar role.

Relevant fitness/personal training certification preferred.

Strong knowledge of strength, functional training, mobility, and conditioning.

Experience conducting group fitness sessions is preferred.

Energetic, approachable, and comfortable engaging with employees across different fitness levels.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good understanding of exercise safety and injury prevention.

Corporate/workplace fitness experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications

ACE / ACSM / NSCA / NASM / ISSA or equivalent certifications.
