Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CMS Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. If you hold a Master’s degree, prior experience is not required; for Bachelor’s degree holders, 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred. This is a hands-on, learning-focused position where you will work closely with our Senior CMS Developer to build, customize, and maintain our SaaS-based knowledge management platform.

You will assist in front-end customizations, workflow configurations, platform integrations, and administrative tasks to ensure the platform operates smoothly for the teams we serve. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in CMS development, platform administration, and knowledge management technology.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Platform Customization & Development

Assist in building and maintaining custom themes, templates, and page layouts on the knowledge platform.Implement front-end customisations using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as directed.Apply UI changes and branding updates across the platform.Support the development and maintenance of custom widgets, components, and reusable content templates.Test customisations across browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and quality.

Platform Configuration & Administration

Configure platform settings, user roles, and permissions.Assist in setting up and maintaining content workflows and approval processes.Help manage platform integrations with other tools and systems.Maintain platform configuration documentation and monitor platform health, flagging issues as needed.

Integrations & Automation Support

Assist in building and maintaining basic integrations between the knowledge platform and other tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SSO, analytics).Support automation of repetitive tasks using platform APIs or integration tools such as Power Automate.Test and troubleshoot integration issues.

Content & Template Support

Build and maintain reusable content templates for editors and other internal teams, ensuring adherence to platform best practices and accessibility standards.Support editors with template-related questions and minor fixes.Assist in content migration between platforms or template formats as needed.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Test platform customisations and configurations before release.Write clear bug reports with steps to reproduce issues.Perform regression testing after platform updates or upgrades.Support User Acceptance Testing.

Documentation & Support

Document customisations, configurations, and integration setups clearly.Maintain a log of platform changes and version history.Assist the Senior CMS Developer in creating technical runbooks.Respond to basic platform support queries from editors and other internal teams.

Education

Must-Have Skills

Proficient in building and modifying page layouts, styling components, and troubleshooting display issues.Ability to read, modify, and write simple scripts and understand how JavaScript interacts with the DOM.Experience with at least one CMS or knowledge platformStrong focus on clean, consistent platform presentation and functionality.Understanding of APIs and experience making basic API calls.Ability to explain technical issues in plain language to non-technical users.
