About The Team

At FIS, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant Technologies in the Public Cloud Domain. The Job opening is in the CIO group. The responsibility of the Cloud Senior Engineer is to plan, design, and assist with Cloud Deployments – Azure, AWS, GCP. They provide expertise to build and release infrastructure to development teams.

General Responsibilities

Cloud Senior Engineer should identify any comprehensive risks and develop a risk-mitigation mapping matrix to avoid them. They are also responsible for working in coordination with the IT security and risk departmentsA cloud Senior Engineer will also develop a methodology to automate cloud services and ensure that any errors will not impact the speed and agility of cloud benefitsCloud Senior Engineer is overall in charge of Planning, Strategizing and providing recommendations to the Line of businesses for their development environment hosted in the Public CloudCloud Senior Engineer is solely responsible for the onboarding of projects in Public cloud using Infrastructure as a Code mechanism – Devops Toolset will be used ( Packer, Terraform, Ansible, Scripting – PowerShell and bash)Ensure governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices are incorporated into cloud and AI solution architecturesLeverage AI and Generative AI technologies to enhance cloud operations, infrastructure management, and automation workflows

What You Bring

we are looking for an cloud expert with at least 4-7 years of experience. A cloud Senior Engineer develops and coordinates across diverse areas including application infrastructure development, identity and access management, and network and data management. They often work in coordination with other departments to implement all changes, which requires them to have a good rapport with other architects and support them in their respective fieldsIt is the Senior Engineer’s responsibility to support the adoption of public cloud technology and work towards the ease of use of cloud technologies. The professional develops new usage patterns, plays an active role in the everyday use of cloud services

General Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Proven work experience as a Cloud Senior Engineer or similar roleExperience in at least two of the Public Cloud Platform is a must – Azure/AWS/GCPGood expertise in Terraform, Ansible and scriptingMust be a quick learner for anything new that comes up in the Public Cloud domainExcellent knowledge of Public cloud technologies and current computing trends

Additional Requirements

Willingness to work in Rotational ShiftsStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesExperience in banking, finance, or listed derivatives is preferredAbility to manage expectations and deliver reliably

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Competencies

Fluent in EnglishStrong collaboration, organization, and documentation skillsSelf‑driven with the ability to work both independently and within a global team
