Job Description

As a Cloud Developer II here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and technical excellence within our Cloud Development team. This individual contributor role is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of high-performance, scalable, and reliable cloud-based solutions. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect cloud solutions, and ensure they meet security and compliance standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and advancing our position at the forefront of cloud technology.

In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of cloud solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure, ensuring they meet business objectives and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, issue resolution, and implementing preventative actions to avoid future issues.

Your role will also include overseeing, supervising and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing end‑to‑end processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development, professional growth, and overall success

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to understand and implement the cyber security requirements for cloudTranslate application storyboards and use cases into functional applicationsPrototype, Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable server side codeEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problemsAbility to understand Honeywell’s cloud based offering and its current service model and identify opportunities of reuse

Skill Sets

Strong expertise C# Azure .Net, MVC, Web Services, REST, Azure-PaaSExperience in MS Azure Cloud Services, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure Active DirectoryExperience on C# .Net application using Web Forms and MS SQL is added needed.Experience on C++ will be added advantage.Experienced in MS Azure Table Storage/ NoSQL (Couchbase), DocumentDBStrong design, development and architecture experience in Cloud Services, Micro Services, Event & IOT Hubs, Microsoft .NET, Web Services and hand-on experience in SaaS enabled solutionsIn-depth design and development experience with minimum of 1 project life cycle on Cloud / SaaSExperience in designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant services. Experience with Performance analysis and Fine Tuning is added advantage.Experience with working in Agile / SCRUM teams and Scrum Masters are preferred

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

2+ years of experience in cloud-based developmentMastery of knowledge in cloud development, design, and architectureLead by influence and provide coaching to indirect reportsAbility to work under minimal supervision
