Who we are looking for: Individuals to coordinate the review of documentation to open international accounts for clients, onboard new business into State Street, closing of accounts, amendment processing and management of the renewal process in markets where investment licenses expire and require documentation for renewal.

What You Will Be Responsible For

The responsibilities of this role will include, but will not be limited to:

Work with client service teams and local sub custodian banks to facilitate client account openings, closings, conversions, renewals and amendment requestsResponsible for managing all client escalationsShare responsibility with manager for accurate and timely processing for deliverables and for coaching and development of staffShould be aware of Multi Currency HorizonAbility to read and understand client document.Interprets client needs and works to meet those needsContributes actively in team activities, sharing experience and ideasResolve issues and prioritize actions in the absence of the managers.Facilitates meetings with clients, sub-custodians and impacted SSB parties to ensure high levels of service are maintainedAbility to recognize and prioritize issues through daily updates, ensuring work is completed within established timeframesAct as technical resource to Account Opening AssociatesDevelop, modify, and maintain department policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes and to ensure adequate controls are in place to mitigate riskParticipate in projects and continuous improvement initiativesUnderstand global markets account structureWork with sub custodians on closing of accountsAbility to draft and upload SWIFTsGood negotiating skills with client team & sub-custodian

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree or equivalent1-2 years’ experience with Global Custody Account Opening exposureOpen to work in flexible shift (5 PM – 2 AM IST)
