Position: Chartered Accountant Controllership, MIS & Financial Planning

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Finance Controller / CFO

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage controllership activities, financial reporting, MIS preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The candidate will play a key role in driving financial discipline, management reporting, business analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Preparation and review of Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior management.

Preparation of budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial projections.

Variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts with actionable insights.

Monitoring financial performance and key business KPIs.

Support business planning and strategic financial decision-making.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards including Ind AS.

Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.

Review general ledger balances, reconciliations, and financial controls.

Preparation of cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis.

Support in consolidation of financial statements and group reporting.

Develop and improve reporting automation and financial dashboards.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within ERP systems.

Assist management in cost optimization and profitability analysis.

Support during board meetings and preparation of financial presentations.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Ind AS.

Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.

Hands-on experience in MIS reporting and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or D365.

Ability to prepare business forecasts and management presentations.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Good understanding of budgeting, cash flows, and business performance analysis.

Educational Qualification

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Experience

03 years of relevant experience in controllership, MIS reporting, financial planning, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.

Preferred Industry Exposure

Real Estate, Infrastructure, Manufacturing or any large corporate environment.
