The sales operations and analytics team coordinates business with technical teams across Akamai. The team analyses and manages data in support of the various functional organizations within the Sales group. We partner with our organization to ensure stakeholders have data and insights needed to propel better decisions.

Serving as a Business Operations Analyst II, this role contributes to Akamai's Sales Operations team by creating impactful dashboards. These dashboards deliver critical insights generated by Sales to inform and support essential stakeholders, including executive leadership.

As a Business Operations Analyst II, you will be responsible for:

Identifying and implementing business value creation and transformation by delivering analysis supporting Sales group's agendaWorking with stakeholders and analytics team to deliver dashboards that meet end users' requirementsProviding Data Intelligence by developing, and building intuitive dashboards and data sources by leveraging enterprise reporting systemsAligning dashboard design to business actions and outcomes, also analyzing complex data to understand feasibility and expand our dashboarding capabilitiesBecoming a subject matter expert in Sales data and dashboardsProviding assistance to the team on business strategy, financial performance, network capacity planning, and ongoing operationsHighlighting opportunities and providing practical, action-focused recommendations

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience delivering high quality dashboards, majorly in Sales environment.Demonstrate proficiency in Tableau development which includes developing data sources, dashboards, complex calculations, RLS, and visualizationsDemonstrate advanced SQL query writing skills, majorly with using Oracle.Possess excellent communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills and effective articulation skills to diverse audiences.Be a good team player, drive for results, multi-task, collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environmentBe able to work cross-functionally and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
