Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Associate role based in Bengaluru (HSR Layout). The individual in this role will generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, in-person interactions, and digital campaigns to drive enrollment in Bhanzu’s programs. They will conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand customer needs, and track competitor activity. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering clear presentations and product demonstrations to prospective partners and customers, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and supporting sales initiatives and outreach events. The Business Development Associate will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to refine value propositions, improve conversion rates, and provide feedback from the market. The role requires consistent on-site presence to participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

Strong presentation skills, with experience creating and delivering effective presentations to diverse audiences.Proficiency in lead generation, including prospecting, pipeline management, and follow-up to convert leads into opportunities.Ability to conduct structured market research to identify trends, customer segments, and competitive insights.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging prospects, building rapport, and maintaining professional relationships.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Comfort working with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis to track performance and improve processes.Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and a growth mindset suited to a fast-paced, education-focused startup environment.Prior experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles in edtech or related sectors is an advantage.
