Role Description The Business Development Associate will focus on driving growth by identifying and engaging prospective learners and partners, primarily for US markets during night shifts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting market research to understand customer needs and trends, and delivering persuasive presentations and demos to prospective clients. The role involves managing inbound and outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine pitches and campaigns. The associate will work toward set targets, provide feedback from the market, and contribute to improving sales processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, active listening, and the ability to build rapport across global audiences.Candidates should possess effective presentation skills and experience creating and delivering engaging presentations tailored to different stakeholders.Candidates should possess lead generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing a pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.Candidates should possess market research skills to analyze trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings, and translate insights into actionable strategies.Prior experience in business development, inside sales, or customer-facing roles, ideally in edtech or related sectors, is beneficial.Comfort working in US-night shifts and in a fast-paced, target-driven environment is required.Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and online communication tools is an advantage.A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
