Role Description The Business Development Associate (US, Night Shift) will focus on identifying and engaging prospective learners and partners in the US market through outbound outreach, lead qualification, and relationship building. This is a full-time remote role involving regular collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand target segments, refine pitches, and align offerings with learner and parent needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, generating leads through calls, emails, and virtual events, and delivering compelling presentations and demos that communicate Bhanzu’s value proposition. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, tracking key performance metrics, and providing feedback from prospects to improve offerings and messaging. Working in the night shift aligned to US time zones, the associate is expected to manage a proactive pipeline, meet conversion targets, and contribute to Bhanzu’s growth in North America.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and be able to deliver engaging Presentations and demos to diverse audiences.Candidates should possess solid Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify, qualify, and prioritize prospective customers and partners.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English suitable for US-based stakeholders.Experience in sales or business development, ideally in edtech, education, or consumer services targeting international markets.Comfort working night shifts aligned to US business hours and managing a remote, target-driven workload.Ability to use CRM and productivity tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and analyze basic sales metrics.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.A growth mindset, resilience in handling rejections, and genuine interest in education and learner outcomes.
