Role Description The Business Development Associate (Remote, US) is a full-time role responsible for driving growth and partnerships for Bhanzu in the United States. This role involves identifying and qualifying leads, conducting market research, and building relationships with schools, learning centers, and other education partners. The associate will conduct product presentations and demos, follow up with prospects, and manage pipelines using CRM tools. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating discovery calls, preparing proposals, supporting pilot programs, and collaborating closely with marketing and operations teams to refine outreach strategies. The role is fully remote, requiring proactive communication, reliable responsiveness across time zones, and a strong focus on measurable results.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication tailored to educators, parents, and institutional stakeholders.Effective presentation skills and experience creating and delivering presentations or product demos to small and large audiences.Experience in lead generation, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and managing lead pipelines.Ability to conduct structured market research to understand customer needs, competitive offerings, and regional education trends.Comfort working with CRM or sales tools, and basic proficiency with productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, slide decks).Goal-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple conversations in parallel.Prior experience in edtech, K-12 education, or B2C/B2B sales is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, adapt to a fast-paced, global team, and demonstrate openness to feedback and learning.
